Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) is an autonomous institution established under the Rapti Health Science Academy Bill 2074, passed on 10th October 2017, as part of the government's plan to open one state-owned medical college in each province. It is located in Ghorahi, Lumbini Province, about 413 km west of Kathmandu, along the Lamahi-Ghorahi highway.
