CMAT 2026: The application process for the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the academic year 2083 has started from June 15, 2026 (Ashadh 01, 2083).

The Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a popular management entrance exam conducted by the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. It is required for students seeking admission to TU's bachelor's level management programs. It evaluates candidates’ essential skills in areas such as verbal and quantitative ability, logic, and general awareness.

TU-affiliated colleges use CMAT scores for admission to management programs, such as:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology Management (BITM)
  • Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)
  • Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)
  • Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM)
  • Bachelor of Mountaineering Studies (BMS)
  • Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance (BBA-F)

A good CMAT score helps students get into the top colleges of Tribhuvan University. It is used to rank and select candidates based on merit.

CMAT Eligibility

To be eligible for the CMAT exam, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Minimum of grade D in theory and grade C in practical examination in each subject with CGPA 1.8 or more in grade 11 and 12
  • Minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or Equivalent in any discipline.
  • Students who are waiting for grade 11 and grade 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit passed certificate of grade 11 and 12 at the time of admission.

CMAT Syllabus

The CMAT exam is an objective-type test, with a total duration of 90 minutes. The curriculum has four sections. Each covers key skills for management studies.

General Awareness 25 History, Literature, Geography, Current Affairs, Economics, Politics, etc.

Each section contains 25 questions for a total of 100 questions, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking, and students must achieve at least 40% to pass.

CMAT Applications and Registration

The CMAT exam has an affordable registration fee, typically around NPR 1,000. To apply, students can submit an online or offline form and provide essential documents such as transcripts, recent photos, and citizenship certificates.

  1. Go to the Faculty of Management's website at www.tudoms.org.
  2. Fill out your personal and academic details accurately.
  3. Upload required documents like Character Certificate, and Marksheet/Admit Card.
  4. Make an online payment using the provided options. Keep the receipt for future reference.
  5. After submission, you’ll receive a confirmation via email and sms, verifying successful registration.

How to Check Your CMAT 2026 Result

Follow these steps to check your result for the Bachelor-level CMAT 2026 exam:

  • Go to the official portal: www.tudoms.org
  • On the website's homepage, find and click on the "CMAT Application Status" button.
  • You will be redirected to a result form. Enter your Symbol Number in the required field.
  • Click the "View Status" button to submit.
  • Your detailed result and scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
  • You can now download or print the scorecard for your records.
