Patan Academy of Health Sciences

Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) is a public, not-for-profit institution located in Patan, adjacent to Kathmandu, dedicated to training health workers for rural Nepal. It is based at Patan Hospital, its main teaching hospital. The School of Medicine began teaching in 2010, followed by the School of Nursing and Midwifery in 2016, and the School of Public Health in 2017.
