Karnali Academy of Health Sciences

Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS), located in Jumla, was established on 20 October 2011 by an Act of Parliament, upgrading the former Karnali Zonal Hospital. It was created to provide affordable, quality healthcare education and services to people from Nepal's underserved regions, producing skilled health professionals and supporting health research.

KAHS runs its own teaching hospital, offering outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic (Lab, X-ray, USG, ECG), and surgical services, with facilities expanding each year.
