The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Nepal conducts competitive examinations to appoint qualified and competent teachers in public schools. Among these, the Secondary Level Third Category Open Competitive Examination is a key recruitment process targeted at selecting teachers for various secondary-level subjects. This exam ensures that candidates possess the necessary academic knowledge, teaching skills, and professional competency required to serve in Nepal’s education system.
According to the revised syllabus introduced on Falgun 1, 2076 B.S., the written examination consists of two main components:
- General Examination (for all subjects)
- Subject-wise Examination (based on the specific subject applied for)
